Hotel The Bird - Amsterdam

Early check-in and excellent service.

The hotel itself was simple and fairly clean. We lived in the twin room with lovely views as well as bigger beds. Had very central location in walking distance to a tram stop.

Didn't like the area, it was very busy.

Excellent place with great amenities like free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and air conditioning. On my first stay, staff recommended local delivery which I still remember. I look forward to returning for a weekend.

The food scene nearby was a treasure hunt! Just a hop away, I found Lumbini Indian & Nepalese Restaurant, a flavor explosion. The room was clean and boasted a beautiful canal view. Plus, housekeeping was great every single day!

The automatic entrance door was a persistent annoyance, creaking away like a rusty old bike. The compact bathroom left little room to breathe. With a slippery shower floor, I hoped I wouldn't turn into a human domino!

Perfect for couples wanting to explore vibrant nightlife! The canal view room offered fine sights, and despite the noise outside, the experience was lovely. Trams are nearby for easy access to attractions. A tip, pack earplugs for a restful sleep amidst the city buzz!

I adored the view from my room-it was a picturesque canal view that added so much to my stay. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby were a good touch. Plus, the hotel's historical vibe was enchanting, transporting me to another era!

The bird has an excellent central location, with our room overlooking the amstel canal-a major plus! The staff was really pleasant and helpful. We loved the cozy double room with good bedding and linens. The cappuccino machine in the lobby was a good touch.

The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool and noise from the street significantly disrupted sleep patterns, a downside for a relaxing getaway. Having easy access to trams nearby was a real plus for exploring the area, but be prepared for cramped bathroom conditions that may leave some feeling uncomfortable.
